5 of 5 Perfect! April 1, 2019
Reviewer: Francis Chartier from St-bruno, QC Canada
I had been lugging around my generic pedalboard 2-3 times a week for the past couple years. Getting fed up with pedals coming loose, cables unplugging, etc., I decided to get a professional board. From beginning to end, the process was awesome. Constant communication from Larry on the build, pictures, etc. I couldn’t be happier with the result! I’ve been travelling around with the new board now for the past few weeks and I have yet to adjust a knob or pedal when I get to practice or a venue. You plug in and everything works the first time and it sounds awesome. I wish I would have done this years ago. Do it, you won’t regret it!

Hi Larry,

I received the pedalboard and case this afternoon. It’s absolutely perfect, I love it! Looks great and sounds great. Will carry my guitar cables and power cable underneath and I’m all set! Thank you very much, it’s much appreciated. It was a pleasure dealing with you and will recommend you to everyone I know.

5 of 5 Nice boards August 3, 2017
Reviewer: Bill McMillan from Toronto
When I set out on my search for a pedal board, I was looking for three things; quality, function and visual appeal. I had done "the other guys" pedal boards, and as someone who uses their board consistently for stage and studio, I knew something was missing, and improvements could be made. I stumbled across Larry and his Canadian company Maple Rock, and fired off a series of emails detailing exactly what I was after. Larry was professional, and dealt with my sometimes crazy obsession with my gear, and ended up building me my first Maple Rock board. He really took the time to get to know me as a player, even coming out to watch me play live to see how I used the board. He just finished and delivered my custom shop board with flight case, and I couldn't be happier! It's solid, sexy and works great 100% of the time, no fails. Larry's dedication to his craft is so evident in his attention to detail and craftsmanship. If you need a pedal board, Larry is without a doubt the man for the job. He takes the time, and cares, which is so rare these days. You're going to be seeing his creations on stages and in studio's everywhere. One of the nicest guys in the business, I'm proud to call him a friend, and to endorse his products. Now just buy one already!

5 of 5 Where do I start? August 3, 2017
Reviewer: Josh McKinley from St. John, New Brunswick, CANADA
I am a guitar player, likely you are too if you are reading this. I have been playing and writing music for 10 years and have been making a living at it for 6 years. At first, I carried my couple of pedals around in a nylon bag. Then came the plastic, uneven, made in china board. Since those younger days, I have researched, tested and gained a vision on what kind of board I would want someday. I had been through a few pedaltrain boards, upsizing, downsizing. When I felt like I had figured out my final "perfect" configuration, I had a hankering to keep my investments in something sturdy, but also beautiful and very usable. I stumbled upon Maple Rock Guitar works and after some research, it seemed as though I could be sure this was the company I would want to make my board. After some planning and decision making, I went for it and... well. I could not be any more happy! 4 great points about Maple Rock Guitar Works! First of all, working with Larry is a wonderful thing. His service was friendly, time efficient, and very helpful. After the overall process, I felt like I had a new friend. Second, this thing is built like a tank. It is very sturdy, It has nice clasps, and provides a lot of protection, without being overly heavy. I gig and play music for a living and I have no doubts that this case will last me for my entire life. Third, this thing is BEAUTIFUL! A perfectly crafted peice of art! It is a true joy to bring to gigs and show off! I have been asked by almost everybody where it came from! Custom embroidery with my name on the front of the case and board. It is something a guitar player would have in a dream. Fourth, Usable. I can't tell you how much more easy this Maple Rock board has made my life. Customized with in/out 1/4" locking jacks, a power cable input and on off switch, handles for easy moving, hatch underneath for chords and power supply / extra space, premium quality velcro top. I could go on, it's amazing! I honestly have not one bad thing to say about this board or my experience. Larry and Maple Rock Guitar works have done an outstanding job. I would not think twice about getting them to make another board in the future. Go for it! Show up to your gig. Turn some heads. Rest assured your investments are safe. Set it on the floor, pop the lid off, plug in your guitar, plug in your amp, plug in 1 power cable and flip the switch. Enjoy the best pedalboard experience out there! Sincerely Josh McKinley
