I am a guitar player, likely you are too if you are reading this. I have been playing and writing music for 10 years and have been making a living at it for 6 years. At first, I carried my couple of pedals around in a nylon bag. Then came the plastic, uneven, made in china board. Since those younger days, I have researched, tested and gained a vision on what kind of board I would want someday. I had been through a few pedaltrain boards, upsizing, downsizing. When I felt like I had figured out my final "perfect" configuration, I had a hankering to keep my investments in something sturdy, but also beautiful and very usable. I stumbled upon Maple Rock Guitar works and after some research, it seemed as though I could be sure this was the company I would want to make my board. After some planning and decision making, I went for it and... well. I could not be any more happy! 4 great points about Maple Rock Guitar Works! First of all, working with Larry is a wonderful thing. His service was friendly, time efficient, and very helpful. After the overall process, I felt like I had a new friend. Second, this thing is built like a tank. It is very sturdy, It has nice clasps, and provides a lot of protection, without being overly heavy. I gig and play music for a living and I have no doubts that this case will last me for my entire life. Third, this thing is BEAUTIFUL! A perfectly crafted peice of art! It is a true joy to bring to gigs and show off! I have been asked by almost everybody where it came from! Custom embroidery with my name on the front of the case and board. It is something a guitar player would have in a dream. Fourth, Usable. I can't tell you how much more easy this Maple Rock board has made my life. Customized with in/out 1/4" locking jacks, a power cable input and on off switch, handles for easy moving, hatch underneath for chords and power supply / extra space, premium quality velcro top. I could go on, it's amazing! I honestly have not one bad thing to say about this board or my experience. Larry and Maple Rock Guitar works have done an outstanding job. I would not think twice about getting them to make another board in the future. Go for it! Show up to your gig. Turn some heads. Rest assured your investments are safe. Set it on the floor, pop the lid off, plug in your guitar, plug in your amp, plug in 1 power cable and flip the switch. Enjoy the best pedalboard experience out there! Sincerely Josh McKinley
